Measures, then remembers
Every few minutes your road is measured in live traffic and the reading is kept. Weeks of them are what make the rest of this possible — a single lookup cannot tell you whether today is unusual.
A map app tells you how long the drive is right now. SnibGuide measures the same road every few minutes for weeks, then tells you what it has learned: which departure is reliably quicker, whether today is unusual, and whether waiting twenty minutes is worth it.
Not a screenshot. The components below are the ones you would use, running the real analysis on three weeks of example readings for one invented commute. The controls work — change the day, change the slot size.

35 min — about normal for this slot
Typical for Tuesday around 4:15 PM is 35 min.
Baseline: same weekday, same time slot, in UTC · z = 0.21

Each point is one traffic-aware reading of the fastest available route. “Typical” is the historical median for the same weekday and time slot.
21 readings on this day sit beyond ±2σ of their slot — listed under Outliers below.
Median duration per 15-minute departure slot, across all history. Each weekday keeps its own colour; the legend below toggles days on and off, and hovering shows each day's minutes and congestion. Best and worst are judged on congestion within travel hours, so an empty road at 3 AM does not win every row.

Median minutes per hour of the week. Each cell prints its value, so colour is a shortcut rather than the only way to read it.
Readings that broke from the pattern for their weekday and time slot — incidents, closures, or unusually clear roads.

Everything above is worth reading once. What you actually want is to be told — and not that the road is bad, which you will find out anyway, but that it has opened up, while you can still act on it.
Set the level, the days and the hours you would be driving. An alert fires when the road crosses that line and then goes quiet until it crosses back, so one jam is one message. Never more than two a day, by email.
“Is Thursday worse than Tuesday?” “Should I leave now or wait an hour?” The answers were already in your readings — weeks of them, per weekday, per quarter hour. Now you can ask for them in words.
And it is your data doing the answering, not a guess about it. Connect Claude, Gemini, Codex or Cursor over MCP and they read the same measurements this site draws — plan a week around them, compare two roads, pull a month into a spreadsheet.
Every few minutes your road is measured in live traffic and the reading is kept. Weeks of them are what make the rest of this possible — a single lookup cannot tell you whether today is unusual.
Each weekday is analysed on its own, because they are different roads. The demo above has Friday at 5pm running more than twice its empty-road time; Tuesday at the same hour is nothing like it.
Ranking by raw duration hands every answer to 3am. SnibGuide ranks by how badly traffic is punishing each slot, inside hours you would actually drive, so the advice is one you can take.
Compared against the median for this weekday and this slot, using robust statistics — so one bad jam in the history cannot quietly redefine what normal looks like.
An MCP server hands your own measurements to Claude, Gemini, Codex or Cursor — read-only, on a token you issue and can revoke. The summaries they reason about are computed here, so the numbers are exact rather than a model’s arithmetic on raw rows.
Every reading exports as CSV whenever you want it. They are your measurements; taking them elsewhere should not be a negotiation.

It is not a navigation app and gives no directions. Everything here is built from traffic estimates sampled at intervals, so it describes what a road usually does — not what it will do in the next ten minutes. Use it to choose between 7:30 and 8:15, not to decide whether you will make a flight.
A new route needs a couple of weeks before its weekday analysis is worth trusting. The app says so on the charts rather than showing you a confident line drawn through four readings.
